PRAGUE : My stay at BoHo Hotel

BoHo Hotel Prague

Travellerczech’s Rating : / 10

I love coming home to Prague. To walk across the Charles Bridge in the late afternoon, stroll around the Museum Kampa and watch amused tourists climb up onto the “Crawling Babies” sculptures from artist David Cerny. Another compulsory stop is for coffee and cake in one of the famous cafes with snooty service included ;), it’s all part of the experience…

Prague has so much to offer. It is an easily walkable city with cheap and efficient public transport, it is safe and looks fantastic on Instagram!

Don’t’ forget to visit other places in the Czech Republic, such as Cesky Krumlov, or Karlovy Vary...

Planning trip to Prague? You should stay in a centrally located hotel to have an easy walkable access to all the sights. Make it easier for yourself and check my BoHo Hotel Prague review below…

OVERVIEW :

Elegant boutique hotel for travelers with discerning taste. There is something interesting to look on every corner and the entire place breaths contemporary design and attractive architectural details.

The hotel has 57 smoke-free rooms over five floors, a slick lobby and lovely Spa in the basement.

I have enjoyed the little exhibition of wooden Matryoshka dolls in the hallway…

LOCATION : 10 / 10

Simply the best! A few minutes away from Prague’s main attractions but tucked away in a quiet  Senovazna street.

  • Yellow line metro station Namesti Republiky – 5min walk
  • Airport by taxi – 40min ( 700CZK )
  • Old town Square – 15min walk
  • Prague Castle via Charles Bridge  – 60min walk

ROOMS : / 10

The Junior Suite, I have been staying in, is very comfortable, spacious and as you would expect, with bespoke interiors and great attention to detail.

The living area contains a sofa, desk with Nespresso machine and comfy bed. Hallway includes an open wardrobe, safe and storage space and bathroom has a separate shower room and also a bathtub.

The entire room was immaculately clean and smelled nice. The view was into to the courtyard, so it was also very quiet. Wi-Fi is free and fast.

Nice little touch with the complimentary art book and yummy chocolate…

SERVICE & FACILITIES : / 10

I was slightly disappointed by the front desk staff during check-in and the entire stay. Bored, not interested and with no welcoming feels…

Facilities are nice, including a Spa with plunge pool, sauna, massages and fitness room with some basic equipment. Definitely, a pleasant place to unwind after long day of exploring Prague’s history.

The hotel also has a lounge with a library where you can relax and snack on some complimentary sweets.

All very aesthetically pleasing too 🙂

FOOD & DRINKS : / 10

I have only used the hotel’s breakfast restaurant. Don’t’ expect a huge variety of food, but great quality and local produce. I was only missing some typical Czech pastries.

Lot’s of healthy options, beautifully presented with a pleasant service and smile, made me ready for the day…

VALUE FOR MONEY: / 10

It’s a little bit pricey, but if do you compare similar hotels in London, or Paris, you are getting a decent value. Plus you have the location, design, and facilities.

I would definitely stay in BoHo Prague again!

  • at the time of writing this post, room rates start on AED1078 (USD294)/night incl. breakfast.
